Intel Core i9-9980HK is the latest 9th generation core from Intel. It is 64-bit architecture and has 8 cores and can execute up to 16 thread with the help of Hyper-Threading. It has the same architecture has its previous version i9-8950HK but with more Speed(Coffee Lake Architecture).

It comes with an Intel UHD graphics 630 which is quite similar to Intel HD 630 graphics.

Core i9 clocks between 2.4 - 5 GHz. A core can reach its maximum capacity (5 GHz) only when the CPU temperature is below 50° C.

Now let's talk about performance, performance increased by 33% because of 8 core compared to a similar 6 core version.

But with speed there's one thing,it consumes a lot of power so it's only suitable for high-end laptops with a good cooling solution.
